Sebagai panduan, Heri kasih contoh di Scorpio. “Letak filter oli di bak mesin kanan bagian depan,” jelas mekanik dari di Jl. Arteri Permata Hijau, No. 25, Jakarta Barat.

Di tutup filter ada tiga baut pengunci. Langkah awal gunakan kunci L 5 untuk membuka baut paling bawah. Trus gunakan kunci T 8 untuk melepas dua baut lainnya.2336ganti-oli-filter-yamaha-axl.jpg

Tinggal buka tutup filter. Hati-hati sil dan o-ring penyekat jangan sampai hilang. Jika tidak bisa dipasang lagi dipastikan oli bocor. Dan perhatikan juga posisi kanan-kiri filter oli sebelum dilepas. Jangan sampai lupa posisi semula ketika pemasangan.

Tinggal cabut filter. Menurut Heri, khusus Scorpio saringan oli bisa dibersihkan dengan cara disemprot angin kompresor. Kalau mau lebih bersih rendam pakai bensin dan disemprot. Urutan pemasangannya sudah pasti bisa. Dan kencangkan kembali semua baut.
